Announcement: The 2015 USDA Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) Grant deadlines have been posted by the National Register. For the first round, applications must be submitted by April 30, 2015. A second application window opening date will be May 1, 2015 with an application window closing date of June 30, 2015.

If you are an Agricultural Producer or Rural Small Business and are interested in potential funding assistance for a Renewable Energy or Energy Efficiency project in the form of a REAP grant, visit USDA-Rural Development for more information or, contact the RI Farm Energy Program.

Rhode Island Farm Energy Program (RIFEP) is a partnership between USDA Rural Development and the Rhode Island Resource Conservation and Development Area Council, Inc. that serves as a resource on energy as it relates to agriculture in Rhode Island.
